FAQs

What are the eligibility requirements for women to join your program?

To be eligible for our housing program, women must be in the process of transitioning from incarceration or homelessness. They should be working with a case manager and be committed to participating in the supportive services we offer. Applicants must be sober and able to live in a shared housing environment. Our goal is to provide a safe, stable space for women who are ready to rebuild their lives and take positive steps toward independence.

How long can a woman stay in your shared housing?

The length of stay varies depending on individual circumstances and goals. Typically, women may stay with us for up to 12 months, but the length of stay is flexible. We work with each resident to create a personalized plan that supports their transition, and they may be able to extend their stay based on their progress and needs. The ultimate goal is to help residents achieve self-sufficiency and move on to permanent housing.

What is included in the housing arrangement?

Our shared housing program includes fully furnished rooms, all utilities (electricity, water, and internet), and access to communal living areas such as the kitchen, dining room, and living room. We provide household essentials like kitchen supplies, cleaning products, and toiletries. Laundry facilities are available on-site, and residents receive case management support to access additional resources, including job training, healthcare, and legal assistance.

What is the cost of a bed at Redemption Promise Villages?

The cost of housing at Redemption Promise Villages varies, depending on the client’s financial situation. We work closely with case managers to ensure that women who are unable to contribute financially are not excluded from the program. We aim to keep costs affordable and accessible, and many women are able to secure housing with minimal or no out-of-pocket expenses.

How do you coordinate with case managers or service providers during the referral process?

We collaborate closely with case managers to ensure a seamless transition for each woman referred to our program. We communicate regularly to ensure that the client is receiving the appropriate services, whether it's employment assistance, therapy, or medical care. Our housing team and case managers meet regularly to monitor progress and make adjustments to the resident’s support plan as necessary, ensuring the client’s needs are met at all times.

What support services are available to the women in your housing program?

In addition to stable housing, we offer a range of support services, including job readiness programs, financial literacy workshops, and access to mental health and addiction recovery services. Women are also connected with legal aid, healthcare providers, and educational programs to help them gain the skills needed for long-term success. We partner with local organizations and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each individual.

How do you ensure the safety and security of the women in your housing program?

Safety is a top priority at Redemption Promise Villages. Our housing is equipped with security features such as surveillance cameras, secure entryways, and on-site staff who monitor the premises. Additionally, we have a strict background check policy for all residents to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Our community setting is designed to promote a sense of belonging while maintaining a secure and nurturing atmosphere.

How do you handle residents who might require special accommodations (e.g., mental health support or mobility assistance)?

We are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for women with special needs. If a resident requires specific accommodations, such as mental health support or mobility assistance, we work closely with their case manager and healthcare providers to ensure that their needs are met. Our flexible approach ensures that women with varying needs receive the necessary resources to thrive while living in our program.

What is the referral process, and how can case managers submit a client for consideration?

Case managers can fill out our online referral form or contact our intake coordinator directly to refer clients to our program. We require basic information about the client’s needs, current situation, and their case manager’s contact details. Once the referral is submitted, we will review the information and schedule an intake interview to assess the client’s suitability for our housing program. We aim to make the process as smooth as possible for both case managers and clients.
